There's a new man in South Africa

LifeLine SA hosts Soccer Tournament in Sol Plaatjie District

LifeLine Community Peer Education Project is currently hosting a soccer tournament in Richie, Roodepan, Galeshewe and Greenpoint/Beaconsfield. The playoffs started in March and will be ending on 6 June 2010. The aim of the tournament is to create a platform to reach men through sporting activities and to use that opportunity to engage them on issues of Sexual Prevention and Gender. The tournament is done under the banner of Brothers for Life Campaign where men are engaged about the values that define a Brother For Life in relation to HIV prevention.

Together with Footballer for Life Coaches, we planned to offer the team’s focus group discussion on Brother for Life values.

The finals will be hosted on the 25th September 2010 in Galeshewe where together with partners; we will offer HCT services and promotion.

15 & 16 May 2010 – Roodepan (8 Teams)
22 & 23 May 2010 – Roodepan (8 Teams)
29 & 30 May 2010 – Galeshewe (8 Teams)
05 & 06 June 2010 – Galeshewe (8 Teams)
05 & 06 June 2010 – Greenpoint (10 Teams)
